I always wanted to be a ballerina when I grew up and danced in shows, competitions and for exams until I was 18. I graduated from London University with a degree in Economics and started a career working with the Theatregoers’ Club of Great Britain, writing for their membership magazine, Stagecoach, and organising theatre events. Since having a family, I have specialised in family-friendly destinations and I run an activities website for pre-school children: www.ToucanLearn.com. I am married with two young daughters and I live in Surrey. I am also a keen cook and a particular fan of Nigella Lawson’s recipes.
