100% GCSE passes and a wide academic and co-curricular programme make St Nicholas’ School in Church Crookham, Fleet a leading independent day school and its next Open Day on Saturday 3 March is a chance to find out more.
Educating girls aged 3 to 16 and boys aged 3 to 7, the school has an unblemished record of GCSE passes and in 2011 all Year 11 students passed seven or more, including Mathematics, English Language, separate Sciences and a language. More than half were awarded an A* or A. Dedicated staff teach a choice of 20 subjects to GCSE, including History, Geography, Spanish, Latin, Art, Music, PE, ICT, Drama and Classical Civilisation. Mandarin Chinese is a recent introduction.
The school’s superb modern facilities are used by Senior and Junior students for indoor sports, art and textiles, science, music, ICT, food technology and Performing Arts. The senior pupils at St Nicholas’ School also participate in busy extra-curricular activities, such as Duke of Edinburgh, COPE awards, work experience week and charity fund raising events. The girls leave to join our successful local sixth form colleges as well as other independent schools.
St Nicholas’ operates an extended day from 8am to 6pm, with school buses from Aldershot, Camberley, Fleet, Farnham, Farnborough, Odiham and Basingstoke.
