Durlston Court Preparatory School is a happy and successful day school
for 320 boys and girls, aged 2 to 13 years. Set in a beautiful campus
in Barton on Sea, New Milton; Durlston Court has impressive facilities.
The school is committed to providing a first class academic education
within the framework of a broad curriculum. Music, Art, Sport and
Drama are all strengths of the school and a wide range of clubs and
activities is on offer every day.
In September 2007, a brand new dedicated Kindergarten opened for 2 and 3 year olds. This new facility will enable the existing Kindergarten classrooms to be turned into a Library and Hall for use by Pre-Prep pupils.
From Year 3, pupils move up to the Senior School. Durlston has an enviable academic reputation feeding many of the South’s leading Senior Schools, small classes and dedicated teaching has already resulted in excellent exam results again this year.
To help busy, working parents, Durlston Court offers bus services. These currently cover routes from the Beaulieu, Bournemouth, Brockenhurst, Christchurch, Ferndown, Ringwood, Sowley, Lymington and Lyndhurst areas.
