St Nicholas, Church Crookham

A happy start leads to academic success at St Nick’s. St Nicholas’
School in Church Crookham is an independent day school taking girls and
boys from 3 – 7 years and girls to 16 years.
The Nursery and Infant Department is based in Branksomewood, a purpose-designed building providing a safe, happy and stimulating environment. The spacious, light classrooms open onto beautiful wooded play areas where children have the freedom to explore and play.
The children benefit from having access to a range of exceptional facilities including a hall with brightly coloured specialist PE apparatus and computers with interactive whiteboards. The children have lunch in the school’s main dining room where all meals are prepared by the school chef using fresh produce.
“We know that a happy, confident child will learn effectively and that self-esteem is paramount. This is achieved through experienced, well-qualified staff working with small classes. Children learn through play and are encouraged to develop at their own pace. A strong partnership between school and home enables them to make the best possible start to their education”.
In Autumn 2006 their Foundation Stage was given a Quality Assurance Kite Mark and received the Investors in Children Award, highlighting their commitment to excellence in education.
